No Raise for EMS:  Making sure that your billing performs at the highest level possible has never been so important.  The ambulance inflation factor will dip into negative territory for the first time in the year 2016.  Beginning with service dates of January 1, 2016, Medicare will pay 0.4% less than it paid in 2015, for the same ambulance transport services.  The Ambulance Inflation Factor is an adjustment designed to protect providers from the effects of inflation in the ambulance industry.  For a copy of the full release from CMS, click here.
